你们好！我竞选的岗位是我们班的英语学习委员一职。之所以要竞选这个岗位，是因为我的的英语成绩一直都是芝麻开花——节节高。

在我很小还在呀呀学语的时侯，妈妈就开始引导我看事物图片，认英语单词。上一年级，妈妈为我购买了学英语丛书等资料，并陪我一起看单词，学句子。从三年级起学校开设英语课，老师也开始给我们教授英语，妈妈精挑细选地给我买了与教材配套的英语光碟。由于以前我对英语的痴迷，这时我学英语更如鱼得水，喜不自胜。上四年级，我的英语已经有了较好的基础，为了继续发展，我每晚都要读一遍英语课文和做一些英语资料，因为妈妈经常告诫我说反复练习，熟能生巧。现在，我已上五年级了，英语老师说我对英语有特异的敏感性，不但发音标准，而且语速流畅，对单词和句型的掌握熟练，运用自如。因此，每次质量检测时我的`成绩都会在全年级名列前茅……可以说，上五年级的我，已经能用流利的英语进行滔滔不绝地演讲了。

学习英语无捷径。要想学好英语只有大量实践，多听多读，多说，多写。不要被子商业广告所误导。

1、注重课堂学习：

课堂上要积极参与，不能做被动的听众。提高课堂效率，珍惜每一次练习机会。

预习：熟读课文，了解生词在文章中的使用，标出难点。

听讲：老师设计的课堂活动是有目的的。别人答题时自己不能不听不练。

记笔记：理解≠记住≠灵活运用。因此，对好的例句、词语辨析、常用句型、文化差异，中英文差异，习俗差异都可作些笔录。

2、听说结合训练

1)听说结合训练是交流的需要。

2)听说结合训练也是学习规律的要求：高效学习的过程是：存储，记忆和激活的过程。听懂，并讲出就是将课本上的句子单词语法复习和巩固的过程。

3)听说结合训练能够帮你树立信心，多听各种生活情景下的句子，做到能条件反射地说出该说的英语句子。能说出一口流利的'英语，不仅培养了成就感，也促进了语言的学习。

开始时可跟录音读，保证发音正确。因为许多同学听力差并不是因为掌握的语言知识不够，而是听到的正确的语音与自己所说熟悉的不正确的读音不能联系起来，因此影响了理解。

3、阅读训练：

阅读应该是高中三年中最应重视的部分了。因为它是培养英语语感，巩固和熟悉所学知识的最有效途径。因此，课外阅读时可采用半精读与泛读的方式。

半精读：选长短适中，有一定生词的原文材料或某一种教材。要持之以恒。要记住，用一本教科书学英语是绝对不够的。

泛读：自助餐及书报杂志。读不同题材、体裁的文章，理解跨学科知识。读时注意对运用精妙的词汇，短语或句子做些摘抄。

英语，作为一门150分的科目，其重要性不言而喻。学不好，会严重拖你后腿；学好了，便成了你提高总分的一大助力。在这里，我想分享一些个人的经验。

首先，学英语一定要注重单词的积累。《老子》上说：“合抱之木，生于毫末；百丈之台，起于垒土；千里之行，始于足下。”同样，英语的突破要基于单词的积累。我们可以充分利用早读课的时间大声地背诵单词，在脑海中留下初次印象，再通过做题不断地巩固，如果光靠读，记不下单词，还可以回到课本中记忆，结合语境，加深理解。对于练习、考试中常见常错的.单词，一定要做好积累，并时常回顾，从而在下次训练中有所提升。

其次，做好课前预习，用好限时训练。学校强调“不预习，不上课；不复习，不作业。”因此，我们课前应提早记忆一遍语言点，对于不懂或者补充的语言点，课上要做好记录，训练时，要认真对待每一份卷子，寻找快速进入状态的方法。

对于基础较为薄弱的同学，我个人不太建议去刷类似45套的套题，因为它们的综合度较高，对于底子薄的同学，刷一套除去听力和写作的卷子，可能需要一个半小时甚至更多，不仅耗费大量的时间，还影响了其余科目的学习安排。也许有的同学会把一套卷子分成几部分完成，但可能你每次停下的时候，就是你进入状态的时候，这种分散式的训练，并不利于题感的培养，这就降低了训练的效果，建议同学们跟着老师的节奏，每天进行题型集中的训练。

初二是初中三年中最重要的一年，因为初二是学生成绩两极分化非常严重的一年，成绩好的同学越好，而成绩差的同学越差。有些同学想等到初三才认真学习，想提高成绩，考入重点高中。但由于初二基础较差而心想事不成。那么，如何使自己的成绩一如既往并有所提高呢？这就需要我们同学养成良好的学习习惯。古今中外的大量事实证明：一个人成功与否，主要不是因为他的智力，而是取决于他是否具备良好的学习习惯，因此我们必须注重良好学习习惯的养成。渴望在学术上有所建树，那么，就请你尽早养成良好的学习习惯。在学校的学习中，一个良好学习习惯主要包括：预习习惯、上课习惯、复习习惯、自我提问的习惯、“不耻下问”的习惯、利用工具书的习惯。

1、“凡事预则立，不预则废”。预习是首要的环节。预习的目的在于对将要学习的知识有个总体的了解，以便上课时有目的的听讲，集中精力解决好新课的重点和难点。所以，学习新课前必须预习。预习时要逐词逐句阅读相关学习内容，联系以前所学过的相关知识，深刻理解本节课知识的重点和难点，画出哪些地方不会，并及时做好记录，为下一节上课做好充分的思想基础。良好的预习习惯的养成，并不是一朝一夕的努力就行了，需要每天坚持预习。同时，在预习的时候应做到看、做、思相结合，做到眼到、手到、心到，不能把预习当作任务来完成，而要将它看作是学习新知识的一个重要环节来看待。

2、上课是学生掌握知识的主战场。上课的时候，课前要准备好所需用的课本、笔记本、作业本、工具书等，课上要认真专注地听老师的讲解和同学们的发言，要积极和老师配合，随时跟上老师的思路和节奏，积极回答老师提出的每一个问题，对分组讨论的问题要积极踊妖，敢于发表自己的意见和见解。同时，要养成一个善于记录课堂笔记的习惯，要记录学习的.要点、学习新得、以及老师对教材的补充和延伸，以便逐步加深和更正自己对新知识的理解，不断提高自己的自学能力。

4、善于自我提问的习惯。从某种意义上讲，学习的过程就是一个不断提出问题并不断解决问题的过程。善于提出问题，是自学能力强的标志之一。5、“不耻下问”的习惯。有些同学有了问题，自己解决不了，又死要面子，不肯问人，这样问题越积越多，学习就会陷入被动局面。

6、利用工具书的习惯。要解决那些自己不能解决的问题，除了向老师、家长和同学请教外，还可以利用工具书求得解答。学生都要备有必要的工具书，特别是《新华字典》《英语词典》。

Don’t let a little fear stop you from getting what you want.

Use all of your Resources

Even if you study English at a language school it doesn’t mean you can’t learn outside of class. Using as many different sources, methods and tools as possible, will allow you to learn faster. There are many different ways you can improve your English, so don’t limit yourself to only one or two. The internet is a fantastic resource for virtually anything, but for the language learner it's perfect.

Surround Yourself with English

The absolute best way to learn English is to surround yourself with it. Take notes in English, put English books around your room, listen to English language radio broadcasts, watch English news, movies and television. Speak English with your friends whenever you can. The more English material that you have around you, the faster you will learn and the more likely it is that you will begin “thinking in English.” .

Listen to Native Speakers as Much as Possible

There are some good English teachers that have had to learn English as a second language before they could teach it. However, there are several reasons why many of the best schools prefer to hire native English speakers. One of the reasons is that native speakers have a natural flow to their speech that students of English should try to imitate. The closer ESL / EFL students can get to this rhythm or flow, the more convincing and comfortable they will become.

Watch English Films and Television

This is not only a fun way to learn but it is also very effective. By watching English films (especially those with English subtitles) you can e_pand your vocabulary and hear the flow of speech from the actors. If you listen to the news you can also hear different accents.

Music can be a very effective method of learning English. In fact, it is often used as a way of improving comprehension. Nobody likes to hear their own voice on tape but like tests, it is good to compare your tapes from time to time. You may be so impressed with the progress you are making that you may not mind the sound of your voice as much.
